Employer Services
Whether your company is interested in filling full-time, part-time and/or internship positions, our Career Coaching Center is committed to helping you meet your employment needs with highly qualified, self-motivated and career-oriented individuals. Listed below are several services available to you. We will also work closely with you to identify any additional ways we can assist you in your search for high quality candidates.
On Campus Recruiting
You have the opportunity to schedule interviews in advance, screen resumes and select students you want to interview. Simply print and complete the On Campus Recruiting Form and either send or fax to our Career Coaching Center . You may also choose to schedule a time to set up an informational table in our Student Center where you can meet informally with students.
Job Listings and Internships
You may post internships, full and part-time jobs, seasonal
and volunteer opportunities through JobZone—a free service offered through NACELink and the Nebraska College Recruiting Consortium (NCRC), an
organization of eight Nebraska schools including Bellevue University. The JobZone is made available to our local and distance students as well
as alumni throughout the country. If you do not have an account through the NCRC, you will need to complete a very brief registration process
to set up your account. Once that is done, you can enter your job listings directly, or email them to careeravenues@bellevue.edu, and we will
enter them for you. Interested students will contact you directly, according to the procedures you provide.
Students who are selected to participate in an internship for academic credit will work directly with a faculty sponsor on the academic aspects of the internship. The work-site supervisor will monitor and evaluate performance.
For directions to register and post openings on JobZone, please go to JobZone Employer Guide.
Annual Career Fair
Offered each year in early Spring, this event gives you the opportunity to discuss your organization, career opportunities and immediate or future employment needs with our students and alumni. Invitations are sent to employers in January, but you may contact us at any time to indicate your interest and make sure you are on our mailing list.
Annual Career Information Day
Offered each year in late fall, this event gives our students and alumni the opportunity to visit with you in a smaller, more informal setting. They are eager to learn more about your organization, explore possible career options and discover what skills and qualifications you typically seek in candidates.
This year’s event will be held on Thursday, October 28, 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, in the Margre H. Durham Student Center on our main campus in Bellevue. To reserve your table, click here for a copy of the registration form. Just print, complete and return the form to us as soon as possible, but no later than October 1.
Individualized Programs
You may contact the Career Coaching Center at any time if you have special needs or would like to discuss other ways we might help you meet your employment needs.
